When is the best time to travel to the Holy Land? Like most
international destinations, there are seasons in Israel that impact on the price of the tour and the ease of travel. The low season, from mid-November through the end of February, is generally the least
expensive time of travel. This is also the time when you might expect the most rain and the coolest temperatures. However, it is also one of the most popular times to travel to Israel. While the weather
isn't always perfect, Israel is one of the most fascinating and important spots on earth, and even if it were to rain every day, it would be hard to dampen the glory and excitement of the places you'll be
visiting. Summertime is generally more expensive and very warm, but it's also the time that many people choose to visit because school is out and vacation time is plentiful. Perhaps the loveliest times of
the year are May and October, Spring and Fall, when days are balmy and beautiful. Costs are more than Winter months, but weather can be spectacular. The true answer to this question is that the best time to
travel to the Holy Land is any time that you are able to go! Return to Top
As a tour leader, do I need to go myself first before organizing a tour from my church? You do not need to visit Israel to familiarize yourself
with the land, even if you plan to take a large group from your church. We will make all the administrative and logistical arrangements for you so that your job will be limited to recruiting your tour
members and serving, as you do on a daily basis, as your group's spiritual leader. You'll have lots of opportunities to preach at significant and meaningful places, share poignant teachings, and enjoy the
fellowship of your church members as you trace the path of Jesus through His land. Your guide, who will meet you upon your arrival in Israel and will stay with you until you depart, will also serve as your
tour manager, so that the operational details of the tour will be handled for you. Even if you have never visited Israel or don't have time to participate in a familiarization tour, you can still comfortably
organize a group tour from your church family. Return to Top
What promotional help can I expect in promoting my tour? We will print a personalized, attractive tour brochure just for your departure. In
addition, we'll send you lots of helpful information and materials to use in recruiting your tour members, including a list of very helpful easy strategies for promoting your tour. We can also arrange for
you to purchase inexpensive and comprehensive study materials that are perfect for pre-tour bible study to get your group ready for the experience they are about to have. Return to Top
What are the smallest and largest group sizes and how does
group size affect tour pricing? Our tours can be booked for private groups of 12 or more passengers. The larger the tour, the lower the tour price. However, even with only 12 passengers, you can
enjoy excellent, low tour prices right from your home city, and you can go up to 55 people and still travel in only one bus. Return to Top
What is the difference between consolidated, shared departures and
private group tours? If you are an individual person or a small group (under ten people), you can take advantage of our regular departures for Christian travelers. These are very carefully constructed
tours that contain all the elements that are important in a good tour. (See measuring value for money in selecting a tour.) You may not know the other travelers in the group when the tour assembles in
Israel, but you will enjoy the friendly company of others who, just like you, are seeking an experience in the Land of the Bible. These tours are called "consolidated" because the participants are
coming from many different cities and probably various denominations within the Christian world. A private tour is one that your church, bible study group, family, or other group has organized just for its
own members. On private tours, you can select your own dates of travel, hotels, and touring program. Private tours are available for as few as twelve passengers, so even if you are a small group, you can
still enjoy the privacy and intimacy of sharing the Holy Land with the special people in your life. Return to Top
How do I measure value for money in selecting a tour? Here is a checklist of important components of good tours. If you want good
value for money, the following features are MUSTS, and they are the key ingredients in every Biblical Journeys tour!
FLIGHTS
Our groups travel via scheduled carriers such as Northwest/KLM, Continental Airlines and others. No charters or "off brand" flights are ever part of our touring itineraries. Our carriers offer low through fares from most U.S. cities, so you benefit from low prices no matter where you live.
HOTELS
Our groups stay in good, clean, comfortable hotels that are well-located and offer modern facilities. We feature such hotels as Sheraton Four Points, Hyatt and Marriott. We will never book our groups into hotels where we, ourselves, wouldn't stay!
MEALS
Bountiful and delicious are two words that are constantly used by our clients to describe the breakfasts and dinners served daily on our tours. Coffee and tea are included at each meal, not just breakfast!
GUIDES
It is actually hard to find a bad guide in Israel, but we are extremely proud of ours. They are knowledgeable, friendly and they know and love both the land and Scripture. Your guide will meet you upon arrival in Israel and stay with you throughout your tour (except on leisure days), serving as your tour manager as well as your guide.
BUSES Ours are new, modern and luxurious, with big picture windows and plush seats, with caring drivers who know the road and are serious about your safety and comfort. ITINERARIES
Our all-inclusive tours cover all the places you want to see and even a few special sites, all for one, low price, including Masada, the Western Wall Tunnels and the Biblical Resources Scripture Garden.

What exactly do you mean when you promise good service? We are there for you. Before you go, while on tour, and when you return. That type of service is hard to measure in dollar value, because it is
priceless. That makes our tours even better value for money, because you can count on us to plan and deliver a very good tour, and to be there to help smooth out unexpected rough spots along the way. Ask any
of our clients about the service they receive when they travel with Biblical Journeys. Some of them have been with us almost from the day our company opened its doors, and if asked, they will tell you that
service, followed by excellent value for money, are the reasons why they travel with us year after year. Return to Top
